CORROSION CONTROL - ACW Coatings
ACW Grade II
ACW Grade II provides protection for up to 12 years on surfaces experiencing little to zero
contact with other surfaces.
- Saves thousands on costly repairs and cleaning bills
- Can be rubbed into surfaces which experience moderate contact with external sources
- Packaging options: 2, 4, 8, 30 & 60 litres (alternative options made to order)
Performance:
Length of protection: up to 3 years (single coat); up tp 12 years (multi coat)
(depending on local conditions)
Cure time: Instant (brushed); 4 to 6 hours (sprayed)
Cured Composition: firm waxy/tacky surface
Colour: Semi Transparent (single coat); Light Brown (multiple coats)
Application method: Brush or Spray (single or multiple coats)
Reapplication: as desired
Removal: white spirit or steam clean
Suitability:
i) Marine vessels and structures where longer term protection is required.
ii) Architectural rigging and corrosion prone surfaces found on machinery, buildings,
walkways and bridges where appearance is important yet not critical, or where
long term protection is required.
iii) Outdoor Museum applications, i.e. sculptures, monuments and exhibits which
need long term protection yet experience minimal human contact.
